Ginger Beef Fries

lean beef round (thinly sliced)
aojiso (beefsteak plant)
carrot
celery
daikon (Japanese radish)

soy sauce
grated ginger

Procedure

1 Combine sake, soy sauce and juice squeezed from the grated ginger in a bowl.
2 Marinate the beef in the sauce prepared in 1.
3 Shred the aojiso.
4 Cut the carrot, celery and daikon into very thin sticks, and soak in water.
5 Remove excess sauce from each slice of beef, spread flat in a Teflon frying pan and cook briefly.
6 After the beef is done, stir in the remaining sauce. Add the aojiso, stir once and remove from heat.
7 Remove excess water from the vegetables and spread on a dish. Serve the beef over the vegetables.
