Miso Soup with Taro and Daikon

Steep the dried daikon strips in water. Peel the skin off the taro and cut it into 5mm-thick slices. Boil the green beans to a bright green and cut them on a slant. |

Cook the taro in the stock for a while. Squeeze dry the daikon strips and add to the stock along with half of the miso. Cook some more. |

After the daikon is seasoned, add the remaining miso and the beans to finish. |
