EThe bone mass in our bodies increases and reaches its highest level in our late teens to our early 20s. After that, it gradually decreases with age. Once you get osteoporosis (fragile bones), you can break your bones very easily, and sometimes become bedridden because of it. Be sure to take enough calcium to slow down the decrease in your bone mass.
