Procedure

Cut the sweet potato into round slices.
Remove the core from the apple, and cut into either round slices or semicircular slices.
Place the sweet potato slices in a pan, and the apple slices over them. Add just enough water to cover the apple slices. Add the sugar and salt and cook.
After the sweet potato and apple are done, remove from the heat and allow to cool. Then, chill in a refrigerator. To serve, top with mint leaves.
