Combine the bracken starch and brown sugar in a pan. Add the water gradually while stirring the mixture well so as not to make any lumps. Strain the mixture. |

Place the mixture back in the pan and heat it over slightly lower than
medium heat while stirring it with a wooden spatula. |

Turn the heat down and cook the mixture thoroughly until the color turns

Place (3) in a pastry bag using a 1.5cm round tip while it is hot. Squeeze out 2cm each time and drop the dumplings in cold water. |
