Pumpkin Cooked in a Microwave Oven

Procedure

Partially remove the skin from the pumpkin, and cut into slightly smaller bite-size pieces.
Cut the bacon into small pieces. Cut the green beans in half lengthwise.
Place the green beans at the center of a microwave-safe dish and place the pumpkin and bacon around them. Add the seasonings and enough stock to immerse 1/4 of the pumpkin. Place a sheet of plastic wrap directly over the contents, and cover the dish with another sheet of plastic wrap. Cook in a microwave oven at 500W for approx. 6 to 7 minutes.
