Japanese-Style Hamburger Steak

Ingredients
Serves 4
Hamburger ground beef and pork mix 400g
onion 1
bread crumbs 1 cup
milk 1/4 cup
egg 1
shiitake mushrooms (raw) 4
salt 1/3 teaspoon
A dash of pepper -
Vegetable oil -
Sesame sauce white sesame 2 tablespoons
soy sauce 4 tablespoons
mirin 4 tablespoons
lemon juice 2 teaspoons
aojiso (beefsteak plant) 2 leaves
Garnish kaiwarena (radish seed leaves with stems) 1/3 package
8 cherry tomatoes 8

Preparation
1  Cut stems off and mince the shiitake mushrooms.
2  Toast the sesame and cut with a knife. Roughly mince the beefsteak leaves. Remove the roots from the kaiwarena.

Procedure
1  Combine all the ingredients for the hamburger and mix well. Form into 4 hamburger steaks and cook in a frying pan.
2  For the sauce, boil down the soy sauce and mirin mixture, add the sesame, lemon juice and aojiso.
Serving
Serve each hamburger steak on a dish, pour the sauce over it. Garnish with the kaiwarena and cherry tomatoes.
