Fried Breaded Mackerel Milan Style

Ingredients
Serves 4
mackerel (fillet) 1
Salt and pepper -
Flour
Batter bread crumbs 1 1/2 cups
milk 2 tablespoons
parmesan cheese 1/2 cup
eggs 3
Vegetable oil
Garnish cabbage 2 leaves
radishes 8
lemon 1/2

Preparation
Slice the fish into 8 equal pieces, dry and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Combine the eggs, bread crumbs, milk and cheese for the batter. Mix all the ingredients well for the batter until the bread crumbs become soggy with milk.
Slice the hard core off each cabbage leaf and cut into thin strips. Cut the radishes in half and the lemon into wedges.

Procedure
Coat each piece of fish with flour, and then with the batter.
While coating, press the fish firmly in the batter so that it won't come off the fish.
Pour vegetable oil in a frying pan to approx. 1 cm deep and heat it to 160oC.
Cook the fish over low heat. Turn it over and cook some more.
Serving
Serve the fish on a dish and add cabbage, radish and lemon.
