Fish Gratin

Ingredients
Serves 4
white fish (fillet) 4 slices
Salt and pepper -
mushrooms 5
mixed vegetables (frozen) 100g
Flour,Vegetable oil -
For Sauce butter 3 tablespoons
flour 3 tablespoons
milk 1 1/2 cups
mayonnaise 3 tablespoons
Salt and pepper -
Butter -
Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons

Preparation
Cut the fish into bite-size pieces and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Dry the surface of the fish and coat with flour.

Remove stems from the mushrooms and cut into 2-3mm-wide slices.

Procedure
Fry the fish in vegetable oil in a pan.

Heat vegetable oil in another pan and cook the mushrooms and mixed vegetables.

For the sauce, melt the butter in a heated pan, fry the flour and gradually add the milk while stirring. After it thickens, add the mayonnaise, salt and pepper, and 2.

Place the fish in a baking dish, pour the sauce prepared in 3 over it and top with the Parmesan cheese. Bake in an oven preheated to 180oC for approx. 7-8 minutes until the surface turns golden.

Serving
Remove from the oven and serve while hot.
* Oysters or scallops can be substitute for the fish.
