Tuna Steak
Tuna Steak


Served with a ginger-flavored sauce.

Ingredients
tuna (red meat) 80g
Savory sauce sake 1 tablespoon
soy sauce 1 1/2 tablespoons
sugar 1 teaspoon
stock 1 1/2 tablespoons
ginger juice 1 teaspoon
Chinese yam 30g

Preparation
下ごしらえ Sprinkle the tuna with salt and pepper, coat it with flour, and remove any excess flour.
Wrap the yam in a dishcloth and smash it with a pestle.

Procedure
Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan and place the tuna in the pan on the opposite side that shows when served. Fry both sides until golden brown.
Combine the ingredients for the savory sauce in a small pan and bring to a boil.
Serving
Place the tuna steak on a dish and pour the sauce over it. Top with the mashed yam and sprinkle with green nori powder. Garnish with thinly sliced pickled ginger.
