Stir-Fried Chinese Cabbage and Crab Meat
Chinese cabbage and crab meat are stir-fried together and seasoned with a seasoning mix including potato starch to thicken the sauce. The rich flavor of crab meat turns plain Chinese cabbage into a great dish.
Ingredients
Serves 4
Qing geng cai (Chinese cabbage) 400g
Crab meat (canned or frozen) 100g
Vegetable oil 3 tablespoons
Seasoning mix Stock 2 tablespoons
Japanese sake 2 tablespoons
Sugar 1 teaspoon
Potato starch 1/2 tablespoon
Sesame oil 1 teaspoon
Procedure
‚PRinse the cabbage well and cut into bite-sized pieces.

‚QRemove any cartilage from the crab meat and separate it into chunks.

‚RHeat a wok over high heat, add the vegetable oil and fry (1) in it.

‚SWhen the cabbage softens, add the crab meat and continue frying. Add the seasoning mix and stir lightly.

‚TLastly, add the sesame oil, and dish it up.
